I'm Hannah — a cosmetology graduate building a career in hair color and styling. Trained on the floor at Collectiv Academy in Dallas, raised on hospitality, and looking for the right room to grow in.
Color, cuts, and finishing work from clients at Collectiv Academy. Each look is built consultation-first — we talk about the result before we touch the chair.
I love the technical side of color — the formulation, the placement, the patience. These are the areas I want to deepen under a mentor.
Hand-painted, sun-kissed dimension. Soft transitions and lived-in finish.
Methodical, multi-session work for clients walking in with a complicated history.
The finishing layer — the difference between good color and unforgettable color.
Clean lines, intentional shape. The cut that lets the color do its job.
I left college after my freshman year at Ole Miss because I knew exactly what I wanted to do — and a four-year detour wasn't going to get me there any faster. I enrolled at Collectiv Academy in Dallas and haven't looked back.
Before cosmetology, I spent years as a private nanny for several DFW families, and a stretch managing the front office at a chiropractic practice. Both of those taught me something I think most new grads are still figuring out: how to make people feel taken care of. Showing up early, holding a steady tone in a stressful room, remembering the small things — that's not a soft skill in a luxury salon. That's the whole job, alongside the craft.
What I'm looking for now is the right room. A senior stylist whose work I admire, a team that takes the apprentice path seriously, and a clientele that expects the best. I'd rather spend two years apprenticing under someone great than two years figuring it out alone behind my own chair.
I'm available for apprenticeship beginning October 2026. References and an extended portfolio are available on request.
